500 grams of skirt steak
200 milliliters of white wine
5 bay leaves
2 tablespoons of dried thyme
2 garlic cloves
1 unit of leek or onion
4 units of ripe tomato
1 tablespoon of oil or olive oil
Black pepper
salt
How to make skirt steak in the pressure cooker:
To start making this pressure cooker skirt steak recipe, the first step is to gather the necessary ingredients.
To better season the meat, open the skirt in half with a thin cut, and marinate it in the wine with the herbs and chopped garlic. Ideally, marinate for 12 hours in the refrigerator, but if you can't wait that long, 2 hours will be enough.
When cooking, place the oil in the pressure cooker and saute the chopped onion and tomato. When they are tender, add the meat and marinade, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for 30-40 minutes. In the end the meat should be very tender, almost melting.
After the indicated time, you can place the meat in a roasting pan and put it in the oven at 200ºC for 5-10 minutes, to brown. But this is an optional step, the meat is ready to serve.
